This is why you should buy ArmA 2. For the lolz.
You can play it as a tactical shooter, a flight simulator, a sightseeer, or a 64 man battle for objectives between 3 different teams, each capable of building their own player-created bases. Or you could use all of this the way I and many others do, like this.

I have ArmA2 but never seriously started it. I did finish Operation Flashpoint back in the day and really liked it, which is why I bought ArmA2 hoping I'd get to it someday ...

I cracked up at the chicken exploding, great way to start the video.
I've always been debating getting either ArmA II or ArmA III.

Oh I used to love me some Operation Flashpoint. :) Used to go across town to a friend's house to play the bloody demo, cause I couldn't find a capable enough computer elsewhere. :D
Later, we had oh so much fun with the mission editor and what nots. Lovely lovely game, if a bit clunky. Looks like ArmAII continues the tradition. Will have to take a more serious look at it. :)

I pissed myself laughing when I found out you could order your squadmates to fly a helicopter and turn off the engine in midair. Fun times.
